Whole Malt Extract is produced from premium malted barley using a whole-ingredient approach. After saccharification and boiling, the wort is not subjected to fine filtration, allowing it to retain both soluble nutrients (sugars, amino acids, minerals) and natural suspended solids. Compared to traditional clear malt extract, it offers a richer mouthfeel, more dietary fiber, and enhanced functional activity, making it ideal for product development focused on clean-label and minimally processed concepts.
